A Day in the Country
Time & Location
About the Event
Road trip!!! We start the day at NOON; meeting you at the celebration known as Cuba Days in Cuba, MO in the old downtown Cuba. Here we will cover some “street photography” or candid moments as we see them happen during their chili cook-off…eat some street food too. Events like this are always in a public setting and allow for some of the most unique photography. Leave by 1:30….and meet us at Bob’s Gasoline Alley from 2-330 for a very rewarding experience. Here we will have the opportunity to photograph live animals, old finds from all over Route 66, and a lot of nice textures for macro photography.
Leave Bob’s and at the end of the day meet at Meramec Springs from 5:00-630 in St. James. (Make sure you bring $5 cash for your vehicle to enter.) There are bluffs and creeks with small waterfalls and flowing water. There are also fish and other wildlife creatures to capture as well. This is the perfect opportunity to develop skills for both landscape and macro photography.
