Cat Cafe-Indoor Pet Photography (No Flash)
Time & Location
About the Event
Indoor pet photography can be tricky. Rather than having you all to my house full of fur-babies, I have arranged a speical opportunity. There's a new cat cafe in town and they are willing to let us come in and take some pictures of the cats living there. We will meet at The Mud House on Cherokee Street for the first part of the class where we will talk about techniques and equipment/settings to be used. We will spend an hour with the cats at the Cheshire Grin Cat Cafe using only constant light as flash is great, but can upset the kitties especially ones that are going through the adoption and rehoming processes. Afterwards feel free to have brought a laptop, and join Casey at the Irish Pub down the street and she will help you with your editing of the photos. This class is limited to 5 attendees due to the nature of the class. This is hands-on and in-depth photography class.
What to bring:
Camera (mirrorless or dslr preffered)
Nifty 50 lens (or something similar)
LED Constant Lights (Some will be provided though so if you don't have, don't worry)
laptop with lightroom installed (if you wish to participate in editing help afterwards)
Any food or drinks you wish to purchase throughout the day are your responsibility, but entry into the Cat Cafe is covered by us along with a portion of the class proceeds going to the cafe as well. We will be around cats, so if you are allergic to cats, I don't recommend this class. If you choose to send photos you took that you love to the owners, I am sure they would love that for social media, but you are not at all obligated to do so. However, you can use the photos however you please afterwards.
Times will be updated soon, just finalizing the last of the details.
